Thorns - блэк-метал-группа из Норвегии. Оригинальное название - Stigma Diabolicum. Основатель и лидер группы Снорре Рух (он же Blackthorn) известен также своим участием в Mayhem, а кроме того тем, что 8 лет сидел в тюрьме за соучастие в убийстве Евронимуса. Снорре сопровождал Варга Викернеса в легендарной ночной поездке, последствия которой известны всем... В 1991-1993 годах команда записывает две репетиционные ленты, имевшие локальный успех на норвежской блэк-метал-сцене. Почерк Thorns был узнаваемым: медленные, грузящие риффы, невысокий темп музыки. Согласно легенде, именно Снорре Рух вдохновил Иеронимуса на создание своеобразных риффов к "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas". Условно стиль команды можно было определить как эксперименты с задумчивым, оккультным блэк-металом. В 2001 году, выйдя из тюрьмы, Рух при участии именитых музыкантов из других норвежских групп записывает новый альбом, выдержанный в индастриально-блэковом ключе. |
