Родилась в 1981 году. Окончила Walt Whitman High School в 1996 году и переехала в Нью-Йорк, где приняла свой псевдоним «LP»[8][1]. Её мать неаполитанка, а папа наполовину сицилиец, наполовину ирландец[9]. В 2010 году переехала в Лос-Анджелес[10]. Свой первый прорыв как автор она совершила написав в соавторстве для Рианны песню «Cheers (Drink to That)», вышедшую 12 ноября 2010 на пятом альбоме Рианны Loud на лейбле Def Jam Recordings. В своём интервью на MTV News, Рианна призналась, что эта песня одна из её любимых на альбоме[11]. В 2012 году она стала первой женщиной, избранной Martin Guitar Ambassador[12]. |
