EXO - южно-корейский/китайский бойз-бенд, сформированный SM Entertainment в 2011 году. Изначально группа состояла из 12 человек, разделенных на две подгруппы, EXO-K и EXO-M, ориентированных на музыкальные рынки Южной Кореи и Китая соответственно. 15 мая 2014 года один из участников EXO-M, Крис, подал иск на аннулирование своего контракта с SM Entertainment. 10 октября 2014 года его примеру последовал Лухан, также участник EXO-M. В итоге оставшиеся 4 участника EXO-M были объединены с участниками EXO-K в EXO.
